In 2004, Jon Skelding, the founder of Scallywags Indoor Play, recognised a gap in the soft play market in the West Midlands. As a parent himself, he appreciated the significance of soft play areas and the need for an affordable, stress-free venue for children’s birthday parties.

Scallywags Brierley Hill, which opened its doors in December 2004, is a small, family-operated business. Since 2004, we have hosted events including a popular Santa’s Grotto, thousands of children’s birthday parties and baby and toddler time sessions for parents and guardians in the week. 

As a family, we put everything into Scallywags to ensure children have the opportunity to develop multiple skills and socialise in a safe and fun environment. We hope to see you soon and welcome you to Scallywags Brierley Hill!
